In the year 1983 a new plant was set up at the Bykampady Industrial Estate, Mangalore under the name of MANGALORE METAL ROLLING MILLS.
This plant was set up to recycle aluminum scrap and manufacture aluminum vessels. It is the largest plant of its type in terms of capacity and also the most profitable in the region.
