In 1995 the group started an areca nut plantation at Padyar Farm, Thenkayedapadavu, Mangalore Taluk.
Today the farm has high yielding areca nut plants, coconuts trees, jack fruit trees, timber trees, cashew trees, etc.
The a poultry farm was started there with a capacity of 15000 broiler birds and recently a feed manufacturing unity has also been set up to carter to the feed requirements of the farm and also to customers of Souza Hatcheries in the area.
Keeping the environment in mind the manure from the farms are used for fertilizing the plants. Also water harvesting techniques have been used to ensure that maximum rain water seeps into the ground instead of flowing into the rain water stream.
